Today I found my dream betta fish 🥰 Any name suggestions?! (Something easy enough for a 3 year old to say)
The best thing about naming pets is nothing is off limits.. Ask your 3 year old! My 8 year old named ours Olive and my 6 year old nephew named his Onion.
i took in my 3 year old nephews betta after my sister in law horribly mistreated it, now I am a proud owner of a fish named Poo.
Ask the 3 year old what to name him 😅 my son name our girl Egg 🤷♀️ and it’s just stuck. He overheard me telling my husband it’s a girl see the egg spot. 😂
Hahah that’s awesome 😂 Every time I ask her she says fishy haha. I just feel like he needs a name that gives him a bit more of an identity 😅 Want to come up with a few and ask what she likes most!

When I was 3 I won a goldfish at a fair. My dad had some knowledge of fish care but we had nothing on hand. My mom found a tiny glass bowl and we put him in it and the plan was to get him a tank setup the next day. Of course, he was a feeder goldfish who spent several hours in 80 degree weather being hugged in a plastic bag by a 3-year-old… he didn’t survive the night. I didn’t expect that though and had already named him…
I named him Flash, because as he twisted and turned in his little bag his scales flashed in the sunlight!
I suggest No or Why. (In my experience, two of the easiest thing for a 3 yo to say)

Barney! Our betta looks similar to yours. I let my 3 year old name him and he chose Pickle Eye, I have no clue where that came from.
